As face book facing hacking, phishing and all types of online scamming, to solve these problems it has generated email address email@example.com for its customers to report phishing.
If face book gets any reporting email from user about these scams it tries to clear the phishing email or tackle it with the help of outside security companies and alerting all its users by sending notification regarding scams.
In a message on the Facebook Security page declaring the begin of firstname.lastname@example.org, the social network presented a few tips from the APWG on how to be familiar with latent phishing emails:
- Be doubtful of any email with insistent needs for login or monetary data, and keep in mind, if not the email is digitally signed; you cannot be certain it was not fake or satire.
- Do not use the links in an email, direct memo, or chat to obtain to any Web page if you think that the memo may not be real or you do not believe the dispatcher. As an alternative, find the way to the website straight.
